Group One, Day Two

Group One had a very successful day working outdoors :) We first got to meet the soon-to-be homeowner of the house we're working at for the week. She was incredibly kind and appreciative of our work. Next, we went outside, picked out a few weeds that were on the lot, raked the soil surrounding the house, laid down some lime and fertilizer, re-raked the soil, laid down some grass seeds, re-raked (again :) ), and finally covered the ground in hay. During our lunch break, we took a brief stroll around the neighborhood and talked about how cool it was when Jesus walked on water to save Peter and the other disciples. We concluded the day by running in sprinkler and taking a detour to Dairy Queen on the way home! We're having a blast here in New Jersey. Shoutout to Grace who is leaving us tonight for a swim meet - we will miss having her awesome self in our work group for the rest of the week! Much love to our PPCers who are following our blog :)
